Release date, specs and news for the new PlayStation 5

The PlayStation 5 is Sony’s long-awaited newest generation home video game console.
After months of speculations, we now discovered pretty enough information and features about the coming PS5.
The newest console will be available from November 12, 2020, in the countries such as US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, however, in the UK and the rest of the world it will be available only few days after the first release, on November 19th, 2020. Now we know that the PlayStation 5 will cost £449.99 in the UK, and $499 in the USA. But the PS5 digital edition will cost less – £349.99/$399.99. The only difference they have is that PS5 standard edition has a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray drive and the digital edition doesn’t.

Anyone who is super excited for it can pre-order the newest console online.

There was a lot of questions about the newest PlayStation 5 features and games. The good news is that everyone will still be able to play almost all PS4 games on PS5. For example, – Fortnite Battle Royale, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Newest releases will be Astro’s Playroom, Marvel spider-man: Miles morales, Demon’s soals and others. However, the sad news is that GTA 6 hasn’t been announced yet for the PS5. But remastered and expanded version of GTA V is coming to Sony’s next-generation console and GTA V Online will be available to download for free! Other games, like FIFA 21, MADDEN NFL 21 will be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X as well. Anyone who purchased on PS4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the corresponding next-generation version free of charge.

Unfortunately, accessories like DualShock 4 or other officially licensed PS4 controllers will work on PS5 only with PS4 games. Also from now on PS5 controller will be called DualSense instead of DualShock, because Sony stated that the new DualSense will include more of your senses as you play and interact with the virtual worlds in PS5 games. The DualSense also comes with the Tempest 3D AudioTech which will provide a new immersive feeling to players. Incorporated adaptive triggers into the L2 and R2 buttons will let you truly feel the tension of your actions.
Features like this are very questionable in a good way, we truly believe all players now can’t wait for the satisfaction they will feel while gaming with the newest PS5 console.
